“Youth Parliament” provides a platform for young individuals to engage in parliamentary-style debates, discussions, and decision-making processes. These events mimic the functioning of a real parliament, fostering leadership skills, civic awareness, and a deeper understanding of democratic principles among the students in KVS. Participants gain valuable insights into governance and policy issues through their firsthand experience. Schools shall select students of class IX to XII with the approval of their principal for Kishore Sabha of Youth Parliament. Similarly, Universities/ Colleges shall select students of Under Graduate and Post Graduate levels with the approval of their
Registrar/ Dean for Tarun Sabha of Youth Parliament.
The Model Youth Parliament Programs (YPP) [6] lay a bridge between youth, like- minded people working for society, and government by providing a common platform and foster for a healthy discussion on political reforms, parliamentary activities, policymaking, education, and employment.
