Art & Craft Activities
Through arts and craft, children learn to value and appreciate artifacts and images across cultures and times. Experience in design, art, and crafts enable them to reflect critically on their own work and those by others. They learn to act and think like designers and artists, working intelligently and creatively. They also learn about the preservation of heritage through art. A lot of the information we have now about people that lived millions of years ago came solely from art.
Students in the Vidyalaya are encouraged to participate in various creative activities like On the Spot water Colour Painting, land scape painting , and creating decorative art work on the wall. Students were also engaged in BaLA painting using oil Paints of the building under the skilled guidance of the TGT AE. Students were also encouraged to learn mandala art, pencil sketching , 3 D art etc. Various CCA Competitions are held throughout the session for students to explore new avenues and skills in art and craft. Activities like Rangoli making, Rakhi making, on the spot painting. Art from waste etc help them explore their creative side and nurture the spirit of creation in them.
